When the highly anticipated Crown Of Thorns debut album finally hit shops it was to critical acclaim. The album hit the Metal Charts one week after release where it stayed for six months. Kerrang! dubbed it “One of the Finest American Hard Rock" albums in recent years.
Jean Beauvoir and his newly formed band Crown Of Thorns sold out their showcase gig at the famous Marquis Club in London. After making a few changes in the bands line up, Beauvoir took the band back to Great Britain the following year for extensive touring to capitalize on the success of the album. The tour resulted in Jon Bon Jovi, another fan of Beauvoir's inviting Crown Of Thorns to accompany him on the European leg of the Bon Jovi tour. It gave the band Crown Of Thorns the opportunity to showcase their stadium potential playing to millions of Rock fans throughout Europe to rave reviews with Van Halen and Slash also on the bill.
