He went from playing drums in the family garage, doing it on his own, to playing for Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford, Motley Crue and many others. He became an inspiration to children who wanted to play music, a friend to a list of who's who in music, many of whom still feeling his presence today.
He set the bar for heavy metal drummers, leaving footprints throughout music history. Just a good boy who loved his mother, who became the "Godfather of Heavy Metal Drumming", that helped make everyone he played with sound better.
